This is a concept project, one of a kind in its field and fairly hush-hush - it's actually an in-house collaboration with a well-known aviation magazine. The aim is to create an aviation portal for amateur pilots who want to keep abreast of what's happening in their industry, to communicate, market or review products and other Web2.0+ activities.

The brief to be filled was to be clean and modern, instantly identifiable as a website that is involved with aviation, fun and friendly and easy to interact with. There are many modules with bespoke functionality, built with Trinity, offering a great experience for registered users - we particularly like the BBC-style configurable homepage!

This project is very big, so it's going to be a while before we microblog its launch, but we expect it to be a massive hit with the aviation community.
